Owner's Comments:
I have just had 'Arthur' a few months, but I said I was going to put everything on the place up for sale and see what someone
chose, so here he is, too. He is still very green - I expect him to be ready to show training level and maybe first level in the
summer of 2010. Although he is not big, he does have big movement - three very good, fluid gaits, suspended trot, long stride,
huge overtrack at the walk. Like most green horses, his steering can still sometimes be a little unreliable, and he is still
learning to balance himself at the canter under saddle. He is sensible and sweet. I have had him out on several trail rides in
the mountains, crossing water, climbing over deadfall, going up and down hills, and he has been very good. Free-jumping, he has
excellent form over fences, and he certainly has the stride to be a successful hunter or eventer. I suspect he could be a
kick-butt endurance horse, the way he floats over the ground - but I am looking forward to making him a serious dressage
competitor, hoping he will be as trainable as his half-sister Zsofi. At this point, he is not for a novice rider - he still
needs someone with experience and tact to bring him along.
